What a week we had in Haiti. Helping teach the kids at EBAC orphanage, helping to play with the infants at IDADEE orphanage, fixing up the kitchen, and doing mission work door to door (hut to hut). This was my third trip to Cap Haitian, and specifically to EBAC and IDADEE. I like to be able to give back and help others, as I have been blessed. Some people know, some people do not know, that I grew up in Milton Hershey School, which was an orphanage started in 1909 by the Hershey founder – Milton Hershey. Amazingly when he died in 1945, he left his entire fortune to the Trust of the school – which today is over $10B. I have a heart for kids in these situations as I recall my own when I was put in Milton Hershey at 10 years old….I encourage my friends, family, and my employees to give back – in whatever way they can, for the fortunes we have been given, as most of the world are poor.
Here are some pictures from my trip…
