This is one of the oldest restaurants in the Southland, drawing loyal patrons with good steaks at low prices since 1937. Locals don't seem to mind its campy Polynesian decor, probably because they're too busy devouring complete steak…
Damon's is the best place for a petite filet that is out of this world! Their Mai-Tai's are huge, and I love the polynesian decor and the colorful salt water tank with its dazzling fish. A little on the pricey side.
Damons used to be a family favorite but it is not what it used to be. The tired interior and uninspired menu needs up dating. We often go out of tradition, but, we leave disappointed.
