National chain store gift cards are available at gift card kiosks in the mall, at grocery stores, and online. But local gift cards are only available in mom and pop locations, if at all. Gift Local changes that.

The merchants listed on our site all accept Discover card. offers custom gift cards redeemable wherever Discover cards are accepted. So all you have to do is select a merchant, customize the card, and send it off!

How it Works

It's easy. All you need to do is enter your location and search for all of the fantastic local merchants in your area that already accept Discover. Once you find the merchant you want, big or small, simply add the card to your cart, customize and checkout.

Resting on the southern border of the Ohio River in Kentucky, Louisville is a city with a long history. River travel was interrupted by the Falls of Ohio, so a city was born. Also associated with the ponies is the Kentucky Derby Museum where visitors can learn about the history of this world famous event while collecting souvenirs or grabbing a bite to eat. Each spring, the pinnacle race is preceded by the two-week long Kentucky Derby Festival that kicks off with the Thunder Over Louisville which is the largest firework show in the nation; it is also the second largest show in the world.

Louisville is also a popular destination for party-goes and Fourth Street Live is the place to be and another must see attraction. Fourth Street Live is a combination of dining, shopping, and entertainment centrally located in the heart of the downtown district. A variety of shops and restaurants receive customers seven days a week with many shows and concerts that carry well into the night. Within walking distance of the other great attractions Louisville has to offer, this is a popular destination for locals and visitor alike.
