National chain store gift cards are available at gift card kiosks in the mall, at grocery stores, and online. But local gift cards are only available in mom and pop locations, if at all. Gift Local changes that.

The merchants listed on our site all accept Discover card. offers custom gift cards redeemable wherever Discover cards are accepted. So all you have to do is select a merchant, customize the card, and send it off!

How it Works

It's easy. All you need to do is enter your location and search for all of the fantastic local merchants in your area that already accept Discover. Once you find the merchant you want, big or small, simply add the card to your cart, customize and checkout.

Mesa, Arizona is a city that forms the metropolitan area surrounding Phoenix along with Tempe, Chandler, Scottsdale and others. The name is Spanish for table, referring to the local plateaus that from part of the geographical surroundings. Mesa is the third-largest city in the state. Like Phoenix, this city is built on or near ruins from the ancient Hohokam civilization, which turned the desert into fertile agricultural lands with canals built a thousand years ago.

Mesa Arizona Temple: Mesa is also home to a large Latter-Day Saints (LDS) population. The members of this religious organization have built the largest Temple of their denomination in the state here. The edifice lacks the spires that are common to many modern-day LDS temples because it was built to resemble the Jerusalem temple as depicted in the Bible.

The Grande Ruins: If you like ancient ruins, then you will enjoy a trip to Mesa Grande. The long-vanished Hohokam left a massive monument of adobe walls here. Archaeologists are still uncovering the site today.

Restaurants: Mesa is home to a diverse collection of dining opportunities. Since it is the 38th largest city in the entire US, you can find food meeting almost every cultural need here. Macayo’s is one chain in the Mexican food business, which is prominent in this Southwestern city. However, restaurants offering Italian, Thai, Chinese and Indian food also abound here.

Fiesta Mall: If you are in the mood for shopping, visit Fiesta Mall. The 1.3 million square feet of this mall are located at Southern Avenue and Alma School Road. Here you can combine eating and shopping in one fun location.

Mesa offers entertainment and culture to visitors and residents alike. It also offers access to nearby cities such as Phoenix and Tempe, with their own attractions. It is perfectly situated to exploit everything that the area has to offer.
