Omni Prepaid, LLC and GiftCards.com, LLC have officially moved into their new headquarters in Green Tree, PA. Previously residing in an office building in Foster Plaza, also in Green Tree, GiftCards.com has moved into its new 20,000 square foot home very close to its former location. However, moving to the new building opens the doors for business expansion that CEO Jason Wolfe has been working on since day one. Wolfe remarked, “We are excited to be all together in our new facility. Now, we are working with the Green Tree Borough to get the necessary zoning approvals to operate as a Visa secured facility. We think this will happen in the coming weeks. Thereafter we will be building out the fulfillment center and the customer service center within the facility. These are the next steps our company’s evolution.”

The move will lead to several changes within GiftCards.com, all which will allow the company to deliver more choices for its customers. Moving GiftCards.com to a building that is 20,000 square feet will make room for a fulfillment center where GiftCards.com will begin to fulfill all gift card orders in-house later this year allowing turnaround times to be lightning fast, as well as enabling print-on-demand capabilities. “Our state-of-the-art in-house fulfillment center will allow us to produce and ship gift cards to our corporate and consumer customers quickly and efficiently,” says Jeff Lininger, President of GiftCards.com. “Additionally, our best-in-class card personalization and customization solutions will offer our customers an easy way to create, personalize and customize their gift cards.”

Many changes have occurred in the last few short months, but most importantly, GiftCards.com experienced the increase of gift card sales in the final quarter of 2007. Nationally, gift card sales rose 5.6% from 2006 totaling $40.5 billion dollars according to Packaged Facts. Almost two-thirds of Americans now purchase at least one gift card per year and GiftCards.com offers the most universal gift card available on the market today, a Visa gift card that can be used anywhere in the world Visa is accepted.
