Scott Thomas is the Security Manager for GiftCards.com and its sister companies. He is responsible for the security of the company’s physical and logical infrastructure. Scott also manages regulatory compliance to maintain GiftCards.com’s certification as a Payment Card Industry (PCI) Level 1 Service Provider and Merchant.
Prior to joining GiftCards.com, Scott has worked for an information security services company as a penetration tester, and also at a major oil and gas company as a systems analyst. Before that, he served as an officer in the United States Air Force officer, and brings with him years of experience in securing, defending, and testing networks and applications. Scott’s credentials include the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certifications, and he has a Master’s Degree in Infrastructure Assurance from the University of Texas at San Antonio.
