Wishing you a “Hoppy Easter” with this free printable Easter gift card holder.
“Gifting Made Easy” by Gift Card Girlfriend
At first glance, you might not even see the Easter Bunny Visa® gift card on this free printable. His tall bunny ears fit perfectly in the spring grass of the flat gift card holder. When he sits comfortably in the folded gift card holder, his ears are shorter but the gift card is worth just as much! Below are a couple of ways to make this free printable Hoppy Easter gift card even cuter.
Order Gift Card and Download Printable
Although you can put any gift card in the folded gift card holder, I think you’ll agree that the bunny ears gift card is the perfect match. Order the gift card online and download the printables to go with it. While you wait for the plastic to arrive, head to the craft store for some googly eyes and gold thread.

Print and Cut
After downloading the holder, print it on a color printer using “best quality” and “actual size” settings. (Do not select “shrink to fit” or any other setting that will change the size of the printed .pdf image.) White, cardstock paper measuring 8-1/2″ x 11″ works best. Cut the holder with a paper cutter using the trim marks as a guide.
Decorate the Holder
This step is totally optional. If you want, grab those googly eyes and that gold thread. Add eyes to Peter Cottontail and realistic whiskers. I cut eight pieces of gold thread and glued just the ends to the bunny so the whiskers would lift off the card. Add the bunny ears gift card to the holder and you’re done!
Make the Folded Holder
If you look at the printed side of the folded gift card holder, you’ll see that the card should be folded where the blue background meets the white space. Although the folded lines are clearly visible on the printed side, I always measure to be sure I know where to score the cardstock on the other side. The fold lines are at the 3″ and 6-1/4″ marks.
Using a pencil, mark the back side (white side) of the carrier at those measurements.
The easiest way to fold cardstock is to score it first. Although I have used everything from a kitchen knife to the unsharpened end of a pencil, I bought a bone folder to make scoring the cardstock even easier. Using a ruler and the measured marks, score the paper on the fold lines.
Add the Gift Card
Fold the gift card holder as shown so it makes a little pocket, perfectly sized to hold this Easter Bunny gift card. Using double-sided tape or a glue stick, seal the edges of the gift card pocket, then put the gift card inside. Write a personal note in the white space above the card. You can add other embellishments here if you’d like, such as washi tape, stickers or glitter.
Wrap it Up
With the gift card holders ready to deliver, all you have left to do is decide if you’ll deliver them by hand or tuck these sneaky bunnies into an Easter basket. I think the flat gift card holder looks cute hanging from a basket handle. You can present the folded gift card holder the same way, but it can also be tucked into the grass along with some other Easter treats.
Bonus
If you want to send this Easter Bunny gift card holder, but don’t have time to cut and craft a holder, then let us send this little guy for you. Order the bunny ears Visa gift card and select the standard greeting card option. Take a moment to personalize the gift card and greeting card combo. Add “Hoppy Easter” to the card’s embossed line and another message to the inside of the greeting card. Tell us where to send the card and we’ll take care of the rest!
