Plastic gift cards may be shipped to valid street addresses within the United States. We will accept orders from an APO (U.S. military delivery address) address, but can only ship gift cards to residents of the United States. International orders will not be accepted.

How are Groupon eGift Cards delivered?

Groupon eGift Cards are delivered as follows:

  • Your recipient will receive an email message from GiftCards.com that contains your message, selected video or picture (if used) and a link to the eGift card.
  • The link will take the recipient to the eGift card where it can either be printed, redeemed online, or shown to the clerk at checkout in the merchant location.
  • In some cases, the merchant may specify that an eGift card must be used online. Please refer to redemption instructions on this page, directly underneath the card image, for specific instructions.
  • You will also receive a confirmation email. If the recipient does not receive the merchant eGift card, instruct the recipient to check email as well as any SPAM or promotion folders or automatic filters for an email from GiftCards.com.

If the eGift card does not arrive within 24 hours, contact Customer Service for assistance at https://www.giftcards.com/contact-us. Have the invoice number and the recipient’s email address available prior to contacting us for fast assistance.

How long does Groupon eGift Card delivery take?

It can take up to 24 business hours from the time of purchase to review the order and the eGift to be sent. If you specify a future delivery date, your eGift will be sent on that date.

What is the shipping time for GiftCards.com’s Groupon Plastic Gift Cards?

Orders placed weekdays between 8AM and 5PM EST are typically processed in 2-3 business days. Once processed, gift card delivery is estimated below and is subject to change.

  • USPS Standard Mail: Estimate 5-11 business days (USPS does not guarantee delivery dates for First Class Mail)
  • USPS Trackable Mail: 5-11 business days
  • UPS Ground: 5-8 business days
  • Priority: 4-5 business days

Unless a future delivery date is scheduled, eGift cards will be delivered within 24 business hours from the time of purchase. Business days are defined as Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.

We will NOT process or ship orders that require additional verification before confirmation is received by the credit card holder.

Are there restrictions on purchasing Groupon eGift Cards?

There are no restrictions on purchasing Groupon eGift Cards. Note that the card value denominations are preset for all of the GiftCards.com merchant card brands (Ex: $10, $25, $50, $100).

When is my credit card charged for my purchase?

Your credit card is charged at the time of purchase. This purchase will appear on your credit/debit card statement as GiftCards.com.

Can I buy a Groupon eGift Card for myself?

You can buy a Groupon eGift Card for yourself. To do so, enter your own email address in the “Recipient Email” fields, and enter your own name as the recipient name. Complete the transaction normally. When you receive your eGift card alert (via email), follow the instructions in the message to retrieve and redeem your eGift card.

What exactly does the recipient receive when I send a Groupon eGift Card?

On the delivery date you choose, an email is sent from GiftCards.com to the recipient informing them of your gift, with your customized message and video or picture, if chosen, and with a link to retrieve it online. The link in the email goes to a page showing the Groupon eGift Card you created, its value and eGift card number. The page also gives simple instructions for redeeming the eGift card.

When is the Groupon eGift Card sent to the recipient?

The eGift card message is sent to the recipient on the date you choose. The delivery date is pre-set to the current date, so if you do not select a different date, your eGift is sent directly after purchase, within 24 hours or sooner after your transaction is complete.

How do I know the recipient actually received the eGift card I sent them?

You must safeguard your eGift card for your own protection. If someone makes a copy of your eGift card and redeems it for the full amount, your copy will have no value. No matter how many copies are made, the value of the eGift card is tied to the gift card number. When that number is used, the value of the purchase is deducted from the eGift card.
