What if someone makes a copy of my Subway Gift Card?
You must safeguard your gift card for your own protection. If someone makes a copy of your gift card and redeems it for the full amount, your copy will have no value. No matter how many copies are made, the value of the gift card is tied to the gift card number. When that number is used, the value of the purchase is deducted from the gift card.

Subway Plastic Gift Cards are physical gift cards sent to recipients by mail. Subway eGift Cards are sent by email and can be printed out, used online or (for some merchants) by showing on your mobile device in store. Both plastic and eGift cards have no fees or expiration dates and are redeemable online at www.Subway.com.
How are Subway eGift Cards delivered?
Subway eGift Cards are delivered as follows:
Your recipient will receive an email message from GiftCards.com that contains your message, selected video or picture (if used) and a link to the gift card.
The link will take the recipient to the eGift card where it can either be printed, redeemed online, or shown to the clerk at checkout in the merchant location.
In some cases, the merchant may specify that an eGift card must be used online. Please refer to redemption instructions on this page, directly underneath the card image, for specific instructions.
You will also receive a confirmation email. If the recipient does not receive the merchant eGift card, instruct the recipient to check email as well as any SPAM or promotion folders or automatic filters for an email from GiftCards.com.
If the eGift card does not arrive within 24 hours, contact Customer Service for assistance at https://www.giftcards.com/contact-us. Have the invoice number and the recipient’s email address available prior to contacting us for fast assistance.
How long does Subway eGift Card delivery take?
It can take up to 24 business hours from the time of purchase to review the order and the egift to be sent. If you specify a future delivery date, your egift will be sent on that date.
Can I cancel my purchase of a Subway eGift Card?
Unfortunately, eGift orders cannot be canceled once placed.
Are Subway eGift Cards refundable?
Once a Subway eGift Card has been emailed, it is non-refundable. If the intended recipient does not receive the eGift or accidentally deletes it, ask the recipient to check SPAM folders, deleted email folders or automatic filters. Can I buy a Subway eGift Card for myself?
You can buy a Subway eGift Card for yourself. To do so, enter your own email address in the “Recipient Email” fields, and enter your own name as the recipient name. Complete the transaction normally. When you receive your eGift card alert (via email), follow the instructions in the message to retrieve and redeem your eGift card.
What exactly does the recipient receive when I send a Subway eGift Card?
On the delivery date you choose, an email is sent from GiftCards.com to the recipient informing them of your gift, with your customized message and video or picture, if chosen, and with a link to retrieve it online. The link in the email goes to a page showing the Subway eGift card you created, its value and eGift card number. The page also gives simple instructions for redeeming the eGift card.
When is the Subway eGift Card sent to the recipient?
The eGift card message is sent to the recipient on the date you choose. The delivery date is pre-set to the current date, so if you do not select a different date, your eGift is sent directly after purchase, within 24 hours or sooner after your transaction is complete.
