eGift Cards can be redeemed at Sainsbury's Online Groceries. The maximum value that may be redeemed by a customer in one online grocery transaction is £50. Product exclusions apply.
The use of our online grocery delivery service requires registration. eGift Card holders must register at Sainsburys.co.uk and accept the terms and conditions and privacy policy. Minimum online order value of £25 applies. Online delivery fees apply. An eGift Card cannot be used to pay for delivery charges.
Dependent on card balance, you may use the eGift Card to deduct a maximum £50 from your shopping total. Any remaining balance must be paid for using the payment card linked to your online groceries account.
To use the eGift Card online at Sainsburys.co.uk it must be converted to an online coupon.
To convert, enter your unique eGift Card number, starting 63417535 or 63417552, and PIN at checkout.
If a valid card number and PIN has been used, you will be asked to manually enter how much you wish to convert.
If you convert only part of your eGift Card balance you will be asked to provide your valid card number and PIN on any future conversions.
Once converted, your outstanding balance will be held online and can be found in your coupon wallet at checkout.
Your online coupon held in your coupon wallet will expire 24 months after first conversion.
We will not provide an expiry reminder.
If goods are out of stock on your booked grocery delivery date Sainsbury's will offer a substitute unless you tell us not to. If, as a result of substitutes, the value of your order drops below the value of your converted eGift Card applied to that transaction then the converted eGift Card payment will be used for the full value of your basket (excluding delivery charge). The balance will be credited to your Sainsbury's online grocery coupon wallet as a new coupon to be used against an online grocery shop at Sainsbury's within 24 months of conversion.
If items are returned to store in accordance with our refund policy, any refund due will be credited to your Sainsbury's online grocery coupon wallet.

4.1 All Sainsbury's eGift Cards are non-refundable
4.2 Sainsbury's eGift Cards may be redeemed in full or part payment for goods at Sainsbury's Supermarket Ltd.
4.3 Sainsbury's eGift Cards can only be used in-store or online at www.sainsburys.co.uk for Sainsbury's Online Groceries only.
4.4 eGift Cards cannot be used for purchases over the phone, via the Sainsbury's App, at Sainsbury's Petrol Stations, online at Tu Clothing https://tuclothing.sainsburys.co.uk/, in the pharmacy, any concession within Sainsbury's or at any Sainsbury's concession within third party retailers.
4.5 eGift Cards are not a credit, payment or cheque guarantee cards, cannot be redeemed for cash, for Sainsbury's Bank products, services or credit card balances and cannot be resold or re-tendered. This does not affect your statutory rights.
4.6 Sainsbury's may exclude specific products from purchase via eGift Card, please refer to https://help.sainsburys.co.uk/help/products/about-sainsburys-giftcard for the full listing. Sainsbury's reserves the right to amend this list at any time.
4.7 If you do not spend the entire balance of a Sainsbury's eGift Card in one transaction, the remaining balance will, subject to term 4.8 remain available for use. The eGift Card balance will be printed on the till receipt after each use.
4.8 The value of a Sainsbury's eGift Card expires on the date shown on the eGift Card, which (except for eGift Cards with a shorter-life as detailed in clause 4.14) is 24 months from the date of initial activation. If unused within this time the card will be deemed inactive and any remaining balance lost.
4.9 Treat a Sainsbury's eGift Card as cash as it cannot be replaced if lost, damaged or stolen. Sainsbury's is not responsible for any unauthorised use of a Sainsbury's eGift Card.
4.10 You can manage your Sainsbury's eGift Card by registering at https://help.sainsburys.co.uk/help/products/about-sainsburys-giftcard. Registering allows you to check the balance of the eGift Card at any time.
4.11 Any funds on a Sainsbury's eGift Card are not covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme. In the unlikely event of the issuer of this product becoming insolvent some or all funds on any eGift Card held may not be available to be spent.
4.12 Sainsbury's reserve the right to decline or withdraw eGift Cards, the right to amend these terms and conditions for eGift Card at any time and to take appropriate action, including the cancellation of the eGift Card, if, in its reasonable opinion, it deems such action necessary.

4.14 From time to time Sainsbury's may offer directly or via an approved third-party, short life eGift Cards. Such short-life eGift Cards may be issued for specific promotions and each promotion may have terms and conditions which must be met. Redemption of the short-life eGift Cards may be restricted to specific products. Short-life eGift Cards may be available in limited numbers and must be redeemed as stated. Short-life eGift Cards will expire and the balance will be lost if not used on or before the stated expiry date. The eGift Card must be used in one transaction and no change or balance eGift Card will be issued. When used online at Sainsburys.co.uk/groceries delivery chages and minimum spend apply. Online orders must be placed for delivery on or before the stated eGift Card expiry date.
