What Should I Write on an eGift Card?

Nearly 100 different things to write on an egift card, making it more personal.

egift card sayings

From the super-simple “@TweetaCoffee” at Starbucks, to the full-featured app and website at Dunkin’ Donuts, the one element you can add to nearly every digital gift card is a personal message. Whether allowed 256 characters or an entire paragraph, the heartfelt note is critical to making an egift feel personal. Got writer’s block? Read below. I’ve got over 100 sure-fire sentiments to help you say the right thing.

Ok, I’ll admit that some of these are a little corny, but what I might say could be completely different from what you are inclined to say–so I added a range of options. Take a look at the list and see if anything inspires you.

Of course, the words you write on an egift card depend on the reason you’re sending it. Is this a “just because” treat or are you sending a significant gift to a family member for graduation? Are you opting for electronic delivery because you don’t live nearby or are you simply trying to surprise a friend at work? These are all things to consider. What matters most, however, is speaking from the heart. If you share your true feelings, then you’ll always have the right words to write on an egift card.
